With negotiations making little progress, Sunday's fan's comment comes from CBCSports.ca user Wahn12, who says the league will need to get creative on how they plan on turning a profit after this lockout is over.
The NHL announced on Friday the cancellation of more regular-season games up until Dec. 14 and the all-star game.

With negotiations making little progress, Sunday's fan's comment comes from CBCSports.ca user Wahn12, who says the league will need to get creative on how they plan on turning a profit after this lockout is over:

"[The] NHL knew they had maxed out at $3.3 billion in revenue. They are trying to reset their clock by locking the players out. I don't believe that they can expand more in the States. What they need to do, is to expand elsewhere where there is a market.

"Going Global would be the answer. Just imagine how creative this league could become. If money is what the owners are looking at, they need to invest in the fans outside of North America ... hockey will flatten out after this labour dispute is over......The NHL needs to be really creative restore the damage they have done to the game of hockey."
