Now into Day 67 of the NHL lockout, hockey fans are starting to spend their sports entertainment money elsewhere -- and they are finding
more value in it.
Wednesday's comment comes from CBCSports.ca
user IconSmasher, who has saved a little bit of money watching various
other sports around the city. Since the lockout, my
7-year-old son and I have seen MLS soccer ($25 a ticket), CFL football
($25 a ticket), university hockey ($10 a ticket and free for kids) and
have followed both women's and men's tennis and junior hockey.
We don't care if the NHL ever comes back. We have more than enough sport for a mere fraction of the cost.
