Each day we offer one fan's take on the lockout from the posts we've received on Facebook, Twitter and the comments sections on CBCSports.ca.

Sunday's comment is from a fan who pictures the NHL labour meetings as a frustrating game of hockey between both sides.

Hopper1: "Donald Fehr (behind the net) looks up the ice, sees Gary Bettman breaking into the clear, Fehr hesitates (wondering what he will get out of this), and then passes. Bettman decides not to accept the pass (why should he? It's nothing worth making the effort for). The puck sails past him and goes down the ice. 'EVERYFAN' picks up the puck and races down the boards; big windup shot and is stymied as the whistle goes.

'EVERYFAN' skates over, grabs Bettman and Fehr, shirts both of them... they turtle.

'EVERYFAN' gets penalized forever.

The game ends.

Communication 0, Interest 0.

...no shootout."
