Wednesday's comment of the day comes from a fan who says he knows the perfect person to clear up the labour disruption by mediating a settlement - Hockey Night In Canada's own Ron MacLean.
With the NHL officially cancelling games through Nov. 30, plus the Winter Classic, CBCSports.ca has been helping give fans a voice.

Until the NHL returns, we will continue to highlight one fan's take on the lockout each day from the posts we've received on Facebook, Twitter and the comments sections on CBCSports.ca.

Wednesday's comment of the day comes from a fan who says he knows the perfect person to clear up the labour disruption by mediating a settlement - Hockey Night In Canada's own Ron MacLean:

Pucks2Stop: "If fans had a voice in selecting mediation I believe an overwhelming majority (Canadian fans anyway) would support Ron MacLean as first choice. Not that I would wish that stress on Ron, but progress and fan retention would be far more likely than continuing with the current train wreck.

"If he can moderate the CBC-Grapes-Fan triangle as effectively as he has for so many years, this could be right up his alley!"
