In Friday's fan's comment of the day, one fan takes a moment to reflect on all those affected by a lockout and another NHL season hanging in the balance.
With the NHL officially cancelling games through Nov. 30 and now the Winter Classic, CBCSports.ca has been helping give fans a voice.

Until the NHL returns, we will continue to highlight one fan's take on the lockout each day from the posts we've received on Facebook, Twitter and the comments sections on CBCSports.ca.

We're highlighting a comment made on the CBC Sports Google+ page. Here is Friday's fan's comments of the day from Doug Hlady:

"I'm glad my paycheque doesn't require anything to do with hockey. I feel sorry for all the people that have or will lose there job because of the lockout. I also feel sorry for the fan that will pay more more money to watch the game.

Also another blank spot on the Stanley Cup. Sad."
