Until the game we love returns, we will continue to highlight one fan's take on the lockout each day from the posts we've received on Facebook, Twitter and the comments sections on CBCSports.ca

Normally we post one fan's thoughts on the lockout, but due to the high volume of action today in Toronto during negotiations, we decided that it might be best to open up the number of voices.
As we move deeper into the NHL lockout, CBCSports.ca has been helping give fans a voice.

Here is Wednesday's fan's comment(s) of the day from fans venting on Twitter:

@suz_b31
They need a mom to fix this #Lockout We are accustomed to dealing with childish behavior. @NHLPA @NHL

@joemcfarland
Perhaps it's time to lock Bettman, Daly, the Fehrs, a few players & an interpreter in a room to get them speaking "same language". #lockout

@JohnSnitz
Donald Fehr had all of the fan support... and he just lost it all. #nhl#lockout

@dillypicks
The entire #NHL and #NHLPA should be embarassed. Getting tired of hearing about how they can't figure out a way to share billions.

@dmatt87
I used to be on the players side but after today I'm not too sure!#NHLLockout #NHL #NHLPA

@KevinMizer
Maybe if they don't #EndTheLockout it's time to boycott the #NHL I'm starting to get fed up with these lockouts in all sports!! #NHLPA@NHL

@blakespoorbrain
I think this is karma in effect for most #NHL fans who gleefully watch the #NBA lockout last year. Damn sports, you greedy.

@BiggieCatman
NBA Players take 50%, NFL Players take 47%...how can the players proposal be so far off when the NHL offers 50%? #lockout #justplay

@ruthgray1968
@hockeynight I think that Bettman should get an intrepreter NOW so that they can communicate. The fans are getting angry with no season!

@RParmele3
I bet, as a child, Don Fehr would've been fine with canceling Christmas if he thought he would get more presents in Feb #NHLPA#NHL

@JayBe
That thud you heard was the jaws of #NHL owners as they realize the fight they are in with the #NHLPA.

@LarMullins
I have no sympathy for either side now-It's the rich vs the rich. I make a fraction of what they do & spend plenty of it on THEM #NHL#NHLPA

@SnowdenNHL
When this is all done, the ice will have 'Thank you fans' on it. What does it say currently? @NHLPA #NHL

@WhippNasty
The players want to much, give me enough money for my bills and ill play. Play for the love of the game... Not the money. #figureitout #NHL

@PuckPosse
Not a good day in Toronto, both sides playing the blame game at the moment. Quite ridiculous if you ask me. #NHL

@doomsday822
Hey #NHLPA I wonder what my boss would tell me if my coworkers and I walk in his office and say 50% of the company isn't enough for us..

@JimmyHespeler
average #NHL career is 5.5 years and average salary is $2.4m so that's $13.2 million.........is life really that bad for a hockey player?

@gonuckyourself
Looks like "Season Not Played" will add to it's modern era Stanley Cup total! Congrats to the champs!
