With more than 20 days of the NHL lockout in the books, CBCSports.ca has been helping give fans a voice.

Until the game we love returns, we will continue to highlight one fan's take on the lockout each day from the posts we've received on Facebook, Twitter and the comments sections on CBCSports.ca.

Here is Monday's Fan Comment of the Day from CBC Sports user heavenguidesme:

"I'm sickened by the fact that people are calling themselves fans and yet are not supporting the players. It wasn't that long ago when players were not making serious money playing hockey and were playing just for the sport. Now we can all say that is real hockey but the fact is the players suffered for most of the NHL history and it took a long time for them to get to were they are. When hall a fame hockey players are signing pictures just to eat and take care of themselves because they played for the love of the game. Not sure about you other people but i don't want to see that again. The players bring the fans, the players risk there bodies, the players put on a spectacle for the fans. they deserve the money they make movie stars make more money to act like a hockey player in a movie then the actual player makes don't see anyone cutting there pay. In the end its there job strike all you want i wouldn't want fans who didn't support me. Support your team and players show that your a real fan."
