You are all invited to join the Kia Fantasy Hockey Pool. Not only is it fun, but you get a chance to win a Kia Optima Hybrid. You also have the pleasure of thrashing PJ Stock of Hockey Night in Canada's Game Day. PJ can't win the car, but he is willing to be embarrassed.

Here are his picks for this week:

The first half of the year was a learning process for me. I learned that I stink at picking players in fantasy pools. Working with Andi Petrillo is sucking all my hockey knowledge out of me and throwing down the drain.

I had to get a hold of some "poolies" over the Christmas holidays and feel that I'm ready to bounce back. Go with the teams that play the most and against the easiest opponents. Match PKs vs. PPs, home record vs. away...blah blah blah.

I just wanted someone to say that you're not that far off. My six-year-old nephew liked these picks so I'm ready and confident with them.

I went heavy on three teams that play four games each this week: Da Sharks, Wings, and sooner or later this team is going to help me out...the Caps.

Ovie is back on my squad despite no Nicklas Backstrom to set him up. The Caps have four games, two against Carolina, one vs. Montreal and one against the struggling (for the last decade) New York Islanders. Big Joe and the Sharks are always a team to watch when they have four in a row coming up.

It's a sad moment when I was retooling my team. I had to lose the Nuge because of injury.

He'll be back.
