Kronwall knocked off Kucherov's helmet with the high hit late in the second period Monday night in Detroit in the Lightning's 5-2 victory in Game 6. Kucherov was able to play on. Game 7 is Wednesday night at Tampa Bay.
Kronwall was a late scratch for Tuesday's game against Arizona due to a lower-body injury.
The Detroit Red Wings defenseman ended a four-game point drought, which followed a five-game stretch in which he totaled five assists. His 20 assists are good for second on the team behind Henrik Zetterberg's 26.
The Detroit defenseman was back on the ice Saturday.
Kronwall scored two goals for the first time since 2010, when he accomplished the feat against Vancouver. The 33-year-old defenseman has 64 goals in his 11-year career.
