With Daniel Sedin on the shelf, do the Vancouver Canucks' Stanley Cup aspirations live and die with his return to the line-up?

On March 21st, Duncan Keith delivered an elbow to the head of Vancouver Canucks star goal scorer Daniel Sedin. The Blackhawks defenceman received a five-game suspension for his transgressions, while Sedin appears to be sidelined indefinitely with a concussion. With 30 goals and 37 assists in 72 games, will the Canucks' Stanley Cup dream die if Sedin is sitting on the sidelines for a prolonged period of time? There's no question the competition in the West is fierce, with the Red Wings, Blackhawks, Predators, and Blues all looking like they're in fine form for lengthy playoff runs.
