Angry at a harmless rear slap from Chad Johnson to his lawyer, Florida judge Kathleen McHugh not rejected the no-jail plea deal reached with prosecutors, she also ordered the former NFL star to serve 30 days in jail.
To say Florida Circuit Judge Kathleen McHugh overreacted to a harmless rear slap in her courtroom on Monday would be putting it mildly.
Chad Johnson playfully slapped his attorney on the backside after McHugh added three more months of probation to his sentence because the former NFL star failed meet with his probation officer.
Johnson, who is serving probation because of a domestic violence case involving his former wife (reality star Evelyn Lozada), was obviously pleased he wouldn't be serving any jail time.
But after the courtroom erupted into laughter, an angry McHugh not only rejected the no-jail plea deal reached with prosecutors, she also ordered Johnson to
serve 30 days in jail.
