NFL investigators were in Wichita on the same day a hearing had been scheduled on a protection from abuse order sought against Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle. But Thursday's civil hearing on the protection order was delayed until March 12.
Randle was arrested Feb. 3 on the drug charge at a hotel in Wichita after the 22-year-old mother of his child called 911 to report a domestic disturbance. Dalia Jacobs told police he brandished a gun and broke a car window during the altercation at a Wichita hotel. She filed for a protective order the next day, claiming Randle pointed a gun at a vehicle with their son and Jacobs' friend inside.
