The New England Patriots have chosen wide receiver Aaron Dobson of Marshall with their second pick of the second round of the NFL draft. New England took the 6-foot-2 1-2-inch, 203-pound Dobson on Friday night with the 59th pick overall. In each of his last three seasons, Dobson had at least 44 catches and 668 yards receiving. He had 12 touchdown catches in 2011.

Quarterback Tom Brady has enjoyed past success with Marshall wideouts Randy Moss and Troy Brown so the superstar clearly enjoys targeting Thundering Herd players. Dobson's 24 career touchdown receptions tie Brown for fourth most in Marshall history.
