The Jacksonville Jaguars are placing running back Denard Robinson on injured reserve with a mid-foot sprain.
Robinson hurt his right foot early in Sunday's loss against Houston, but stayed in the game. It was still bothering him Wednesday, and tests revealed an injury that takes six to eight weeks to heal. Jaguars coach Gus Bradley says Toby Gerhart, who opened the season as the starter before getting supplanted by Robinson, likely will start Sunday at Baltimore. Robinson finishes the season with 582 yards rushing and four touchdowns.
