Whatever initial reservations McCoy had about being traded to the Buffalo Bills have quickly worn off. McCoy says he's happy to be someplace where he feels appreciated. He's excited to be on a Rex Ryan-coached team that will make it a priority run the ball. And the NFL's 2013 rushing leader is pleased to have a restructured five-year contract that secures his long-term future.
McCoy spoke during a news conference shortly after the Bills and Philadelphia Eagles formally announced the trade, which went into effect Tuesday. The teams agreed to the deal last week, with Buffalo acquiring McCoy in exchange for linebacker Kiko Alonso.
