Andrew Hawkins

Hawkins is expected to miss the last two preseason games because of a sprained ankle, leaving him a candidate to wind up on injured reserve.

Hawkins sprained his left ankle while trying to make a catch on Aug. 1, and it was placed in a cast. Coach Marvin Lewis says Tuesday that Hawkins will get the cast off this week so the ankle can be examined and he can start therapy, But he'll be in a protective boot for a couple of weeks so that he doesn't aggravate the injury.
