|2013 Regular Season|
Spencer, who played for the first time in more than a year against the Saints, skipped Friday's practice, just as he has all season since coming off the physically unable to perform list.
Spencer played only one game last season and had career-threatening microfracture surgery on a left knee that gave him trouble throughout the offseason. He was inactive the first three games this year.
Spencer had a career-high 11 sacks in 2012 but played just the opener last year because of knee trouble that started in the offseason.
The 30-year-old Spencer hurt his left knee during the offseason last year and aggravated the injury at the start of training camp. He missed the preseason and the opener before playing in Week 2, and then had a second operation in as many months and was out the rest of the season.
