McIntyre, in his third year with the Jets, practiced with the starters Monday. The Jets announced Sunday night that Coples, who led the team with 5 1/2 sacks last season as a rookie, was having a "medical procedure" on Tuesday. Ryan would say only that the team hopes Coples is back "sooner than later."
