|2014 Regular Season|
The announcement Saturday came two days after the Kings got Terry and Reggie Evans from the Brooklyn Nets for guard Marcus Thornton. Sacramento traded Thornton to give rookies Ben McLemore and Ray McCallum more playing time, leaving Terry's role on the rebuilding team in question.
Terry came from Boston along with Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce but has appeared in just 35 games after a knee injury, averaging 4.5 points.
Terry missed the previous 15 games with a bruised left knee
The Nets also get Jason Terry and D.J. White from Boston while sending Gerald Wallace, Kris Humphries, MarShon Brooks, Kris Joseph, Keith Bogans and first-round draft picks in 2014, 2016 and 2018 to the rebuilding Celtics. Boston also gets the right to swap first-round picks in 2017.
