Hanson was the Angels' scheduled starter Friday and was replaced by Barry Enright. The Angels said Hanson is tending to a personal matter. He was also placed on bereavement leave April 22 following a death in his family. In his first season with the Angels, Hanson is 2-1 with a 3.86 ERA.
Hanson (2-1) is likely to miss his scheduled start Wednesday against Texas, and RHP Jerome Williams is likely to replace him.
Hanson's opponent's BA is .304.
The right-hander allowed three hits and two runs with four strikeouts in his fourth spring start. "It's fine," Hanson said.
