Lawful Access Legislation

It was left out of Canada's recent omnibus crime bill, but controversial "lawful access" legislation is still expected in the very near future. These proposed laws would make it easier for law enforcement to track and monitor your communications. Spark explores both sides of the issue: we speak with Murray Stooke, the Deputy Chief of the Calgary Police Service, as well as David Fewer, the director of CIPPIC, the Canadian Internet Police and Public Interest Clinic.
