More intriguing cell phone use in Japan. They're rolling out tests of 'smart posters'. You hold your compatible phone close to the poster and it sends additional digital information to you. It's called Near Field Communication, and it seems like it's an extension of RFID technology. It reminds me of the QR Codes we talked about in the first season of Spark (via Pink Tentacle)
