Today, Nora interviewed Wafaa Bilal. Wafaa is an artist and photography professor at New York University. And he has a third eye.
Yes, a third eye. Recently, Wafaa had a small digital camera implanted in the back of his head.

Listeners might be interested to know that Wafaa will give a free public talk about his work at OCAD University in Toronto on February 10, 2011 at 7 p.m. as part of the Art Creates Change speaker series. His provocative works are sure to spark some interesting discussion. His visit, along with those of Ambarien Alqadar and Samina Mishra this past October and more recently artist Adel Abdessemed (videos of both talks will be available at http://www.ocad.ca soon) are part of a theme this year discussing issues of social responsibility and ethics in art making and cultural production.
Hi Sarah
Great to hear; thanks for tipping us off!
Art can/ should evoke comments and interpretations.
Reading posts here tell me more about the poster and the society I live in.
Good for Bilal.
