Oh man, I'm such a keener, aren't I. Well, I just really like making movies, I couldn't resist.
In case anyone is curious: the animated video was created using xtranormal (http://xtranormal.com), which is a really cool web app that lets you make movies by just typing out a script and directing the action of animated characters. So much fun to play with!
The second one is a screencast of a website that functions as an alternative to powerpoint, Prezi (http://prezi.com), which is one of my current favourite web apps. (Who wouldn't rather watch that than see a bunch of ppt slides?!) The screencast itself (and the audio recording) is shot using free software called BB Flashback express (http://www.bbsoftware.co.uk/BBFlashBack_FreePlayer.aspx), which lets you record and upload directly to YouTube.
Anyone can make movies! It's not hard and doesn't require tons of software or money. Go make movies!!
