This past Valentine’s day, Tina Roth Eisenberg gave birth to a baby boy, who she named Tilo.
How did she decide on her son’s name?
She crowdsourced it. Tina runs the popular design blog Swiss Miss, and she asked her readers for their input:
Have any cool suggestions for a rather unique 4 letter boy’s name for our unborn son?
Yesterday, Nora interviewed Tina about her extreme crowdsourcing. A shorter version of this interview will air on an upcoming episode of Spark, but you can hear the full, uncut interview below, or download the MP3. [runs 7:38]

Hi Nora,
Great interview. I love that Tina has already set up her son's url and twitter page.
Thanks, Alanna
Thanks, Alanna. I thought that was cool too. I wonder if it will be the norm within a few years for new parents to set up their child's digital toolkit.
The odd thing is, no one suggested the name Tilo. …?
Tilo? I'm sorry, that is just cruel to the child. While I haven't always been happy with the name of Frank, in hindsight it sure beats Tilo.
Hillary Clinton had that book "It Takes a Village to Raise a Child." What happens when that village is full of online hipsters? They name the kid Tilo……
That's just weird. What did the kid ever do to deserve that kind of name.?
I don't no but to make a Facebook account 2 ur son that seem stupid
