Ever wonder why organizations that start out as innovators can become rigid and stuck in their ways? Heck, maybe you work in an organization that’s lost its creative, innovative edge.
If so, you’ll want to listen to Nora’s interview with Roger Martin. Roger is the Dean of the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, and the author of The Design of Business: Why Design Thinking is the Next Competitive Advantage. Hey Nora, Thanks Roger,…..I now know what I am.
………………………..I am …..a design…… thinker……!!!!!!
You interview was so right on.
As a design thinker, I have figured out how to move Toronto faster, take 34 million cars off the road annually, make 100 million a year for Toronto , additionally saving billions being spent in different directions and also SAVE LIVES !!!!!!
This DESIGN THINKING WILL BE ON D R A G O N S
D E N, Wednesday, November 4th, 8 PM>
The Director for the US DOT, has already taken my innovative DESIGN THINKING TO CAPITAL HILL, at the Senate.
Your right Roger, change is difficult, but with persistance, patience, and picture telling methods. Eventually one’s innovation will find a way.
I would love to do a follow up TALK SHOW on your program Nora.
I am a perfect example that anyone can be a DESIGN THINKER.
Often, the best ideas, come OUTSIDE THE BOX !!!
Sometimes by just asking the SIMPLE QUESTIONS………… IS HOW INNOVATION BEGINS.
This is how it was for me. I said to myself you gotta be able to do it cheaper than that.
And know I have created a brand new technology…………..SEPARATED PASSENGER FLOW..
for SUBWAY PLATFORMS, which also offers
COST EFFECTIVE PLATFORM SAFETY.
AND MOVES TORONTO FASTER by commuting
an extra 88 train loads of passengers every single work day.
You fix the HUB of a city, you MOVE AN ENTIRE CITY
FASTER !!!
No more wall of people in front of subway train doors. Wouldn’t that be awesome.
I am in the midst of changing these laws. Also I actually think the law is already in place from 1993, for subway to provide simple guards of protection.
These interpretations I believe will be a legal battle. It’s not my fault syndrome. But change is on the way!!!
I have even met with the Chief Coroner of Toronto, who suggests I will be called in at the next inquest.
No more do thousands have to witness these horrable deaths.
No more do drivers have to witness this. Now they can do what they were originally hired to do. Just drive.
All this began a year and a half ago with DESIGN THINKING. Thanks Roger and Nora.
