I found the segment on fashion very interesting. I have a granddaughter, university student starts her Masters in Sept. She buys all her clothes in thrift or second time around stores, to me she always looks very stylish. I think of "fashion" as something fleeting changes every season, but those who have style always have it.

One technique for email sabbaticals I learned from a co-worker was to put a huge file in your inbox (Powerpoint files work great for this). This really only works if your mail system has limits, but many of them do now. That way, any new messages will just bounce back to the sender. When you get back, delete the big file and you've got a lovely, clean inbox again.
