Yesterday, we posted our full interview with Kutiman, the mad musician responsible for those delicious Thru-You.com music videos. You know, the ones composed entirely out of YouTube clips?
A shorter version of the interview will be in our April 8th show. But we’d love to make some room for you to play.
Here’s the deal: D/L yourself a copy of the interview (here). Cut out the parts you enjoy most. Mix in a bit of Creative Commons music or sound effects, or whatever else you have the license to remix, and send it back. The best remix gets on the show next week, and the winner scores an ever fashionable Spark Grocery Bag.
Best hurry though, we need to judge the best entry by Monday, April 6th! Send your best effort to spark at cbc dot ca
Off ya go!
Doesn't this contest technically violate the CBC copyright on the audio from this interview? I think it is great idea and a good way to continue the dialogue about the restrictions copyright has on culture.Love the original interview and cannot wait to hear the remixes!
