Over at the Search Engine blog, Jesse Brown has an interview with Brett Gaylor, the director of RiP: A remix manifesto.
Perhaps one of the most interesting aspects of RiP is that it’s an “open source documentary.” Much of the raw footage shot for the film is available on the web under a Creative Commons license, and Brett encourages people to remix and mashup the video.
RiP starts screening in theatres across Canada March 6, and I’m really looking forward to seeing it when it hits Toronto.
Sure remix manifesto | Spark | CBC Radio should beget circles of involvement merely credited to the fact it can be interesting studying.
