Excellent work this broadcast. I've been enjoying the podcast for a few months, and this is my favorite all-around show. I love the sound bites about the camp fire. The vintage clips foreshadowed the wrap-up brilliantly.
Great show today. I love grabbing my iPod and listening to your show walking, listening and smiling like a lunatic. Your segment on laptops in the kitchen got me thinking about my favourite online recipe. Rosemary and Brie Mac' and Cheese. It is without a doubt the best mac and cheese I've ever had. You can find it here: http://moon-pie.blogspot.com/2006/08/rosemary-bri… on the Pie in the Sky blog which has many other great recipes.
Wow — you used fire as glue!
One additional thought to the sticky computer issue: use a computer designed for a child. In my case I use my One Laptop Per Child http://laptop.org computer , and it is great for situations where you may need to wipe things down later. Designed for potentially sticky children, it works for sticky adults as well.
