Greetings Saturday listeners and blog visitors. Today’s Radio One broadcast of Spark has been pre-empted for a live broadcast of Oscar Peterson: Simply the Best. It’s a musical memorial and tribute to Canada’s jazz giant, who died on December 23rd, at the age of 82. It promises to be a wonderful musical celebration of his life and art.
