hey guys i think you have a sample rate problem, the audio sounds a littlle slow, or is it just me?
@bmo: Thanks. Did you download the MP3, or are you listening through the flash player on this site?
I had the same problem when listening via the flash player. I downloaded it and it seemed OK that way.
Just noticed the same problem with sampling rate. Too slow through Odeo player but fine when download mp3 file.
If/when I get a chance to talk about post-modernism I try to slip in that it’s about “in effect”. (Another whammy: “hermeneutics” is about groking what folk /meant/ when they wrote what they wrote. Not quantum electro-dynamics!)
So it shouldn’t astonish a reasonably mature adult that those who talk about such as collaboration and deliberation don’t.
If you google “deliberation” you’ll find my site at #10. If you adjust that a bit and make it “participatory deliberation” I’ll be #1.
That page has been online for 5 years, and it has gotten a total of 0 comments.
Or such as my http://vibewise.wordpress.com and http://many2many.wordpress.com … even when it carries comments I’ve posted in places like Rheingold’s blog (My last comment on his “Participatory Media Guide” was a question, wondering why it was totally silent.) there’s no back-wash.
Web2.0? Easier than ever to be naive.
And you gotta admit: this is a lousy time to be naive!

p.s. I’ve emailed pret’near everybody I dare at Mother Corp. about those concepts, and about “discourse-based document portal”, because since before Radio2 (let alone 3) my work is all about extending the archives in a usable way, a friendly way, a way that gets folk “thinking together about what is crucial, talking deeply about simple things”. But the bottom line is that, just like banks won’t lend you money if you need it, if a person isn’t already A-list then *shrug* that’s that. In effect.
sorry, where is rss feed of your blog?
