Recently, I interviewed Xiaochang Li, a blogger and graduate student at MIT’s Comparative Media program, about the success of Soulja Boy and his hit song and dance, “(Crank Dat) Soulja Boy”. Our conversation was about how social media and Web 2.0 technologies contributed to the success of the song.
