Today’s show…re: why use hi tech names for products…etc.
honestly i think marketing companies have dummed it way down to consumers and it’s got to the point its utterly ridiculous! take a look at skin care. the one that stands out the most is the product (can’t even remember the name think it’s aveeno) that has a “Revolutionary Shitake complex”…do you understand that is a mushroom? and further, do you understand that putting crushed up mushrooms on yr skin will do nothing for your wrinkles? i wish i could have spoke to Terry. i listen to him all the time but he’s wrong about what truths or untruths which can be told. the truth is there is not a skin care product sold that will get rid of wrinkles and yet were told time and time again they will….ahhhh! that’s not to say we can’t age well….b/c we can! but that is a whole other story…and yes it is absolutely possible.
The remote employee working via a robot was cool yet very 70s at the same time
it is great!
Hi,
I went to grab the earliest episodes of Spark from iTunes to fill catch up over the Summer hiatus and discovered that Episode 3 isn’t in the RSS feed or iTunes as a result. Fortunately there’s the link to the mp3 file so I could download it directly, but I thought you might want to add it to the feed so it shows up there and in iTunes.
Also wanted to say that it was great meeting Nora, Dan and the other CBCers at Podcasters Across Borders 2008 this past weekend.
Keep up the great work!
Rob
