"Barrie Redford's astounding range and creative solos have delighted audiences all over the province.  The U of S's Dean McNeill is an excellent jazz trumpet player with formidable skills as an improviser and composer.  Since his return from jazz studies at Humber College in Toronto Dave Anderson has been making jazz fans sit up and take notice of his silky sound and creative melodic solos. The Three Trumpets were backed up by Don Griffith on piano, Don Tatchell on drums and Doug Gilmour on bass."
