Country Boys and Girls
We continue our 'Off The Floor' series with the music of Clayton Linthicum from the Wood Mountain district. Raised on a ranch in southern Saskatchewan this young teenager plays a mean guitar and sings with the blues with a depth that belies his years. On the show, Clayton shares three of his songs and tells the story behind each of them. Working along side Clayton as a coach and mentor for the session was Regina bass player extrordinare Dave Chobot.

Author Sandra Birdsell has a good web site, that will give you lots of information about her other writing, and her bio--one thing I love on that page is Sandra's explanation of why she moved from Winnipeg to Regina:
"The further west I come, the better I feel in my skin"

Gerry Hill is on the 2009 short-list for two Saskatchewan Book Awards (Regina and Poetry) for his new book 14 Tractors.
