House Doctor: Don't Collapse Near Hospital!

If you were going to collapse, you'd think right in front of a hospital would be the ideal spot. Not so. A woman recently collapsed a hundred meters from the main entrance of a Lethbridge, Alberta hospital and when a passerby ran to the hospital for help, the receptionist called 911! Dr. Brian Goldman says it's a pretty common policy.

House Doctor: More Women in Medical School

Women in Canada now make up more than half the workforce in medicine and other health fields. In the U-K it's predicted that female doctors will outnumber male doctors within 6 years, and an editorial in the Student British Medical Journal asks whether the trend has gone too far. House Doctor Brian Goldman has details.
