Fackelmann's Chocolates and The Schnitzel Parlour

fackelmann.jpgUwe Kuester and his wife Beate opened a business selling pastries and handmade chocolates when they moved to Fredericton from Germany 13 years ago. They became famous for their homemade truffles and German kisses. A few years later they moved locations and added a restaurant, The Schnitzel Parlour! Uwe Kuester is this week's homegrown guest.

Lewis Mountain Fresh Farm Sauerkraut

The Lewis family had a knack for making sauerkraut. They'd put up a bit for themselves and a few neighbours...but before long it seemed everybody wanted some. Last year they produced 100 thousand pounds of sauerkraut. Craig Lewis talks about the business he runs with his parents near Salisbury.
