Home Grown: Mr. Tomato/ M. Tomate
Those of you starved for something fresh and local might want to set up camp outside Patrice and Lise Finnigan's greenhouse in Rogersville. Last weekend, they ate the first organic cucumber from this spring's crop! The Mr. Tomato Market is a fixture in the village that has been known to claim the title of brussels sprouts capital of the world. They've been in the greenhouse business for 35 years, much of that time as a pesticide-free operation but last year they took the leap and got their organic certification!
