We're bending our own rules this week to introduce you to Brewed Awakenings, a company in French Lake that roasts some unusual beans. Jennifer Sexton is one of the owners and she explains what makes her company different.

hops.jpgAshley Durdle was wrapping up a career in the airforce a few years back and she was looking for a bit of a change. She bought some fifty acres of land in Cornhill, near Sussex, with her partner Bob Fitzgerald and the Happy Hopyard was born! With micro-breweries popping up all over, there's no shortage of customers looking for a source of local hops.

The website where you can search for everything from locally produced cheese to wine to sausages gets about 3,000 hits a month. And that's not all she has up her sleeve!
