Shivering Songs Contest!

shivering.jpgThe organizers at the Shivering Songs Festival in Fredericton have put together a truly amazing line-up of talent for this year's event, running from January 25 - 27! The CBC's Jian Ghomeshi will be there, along with Sarah Harmer, Royal Wood, The Sadies, the Backyard Devils, Rose Cousins, Mo Kenney, Owen Steel and more! For the complete line-up and schedule visit the Shivering Songs website here. The talent is so great that while there are still tickets to individual shows, passes to the whole weekend of music are sold out! But, we got our hand on two! We'll be giving those passes to one lucky listener! And that's not all. Our winner will also receive two nights' accommodation at the Crowne Plaza and dinner for two both nights (one at the Terrace and one at the James Joyce Pub)! It's an amazing prize, and all you have to do for a chance to win is tell us about the song that makes you shiver, and why! Or, you could tell us about a song that warms you up! Either way, we want to hear about your connection to the song and why it makes you feel the way it does! Call your entry in to our talkback line at 1-855-ShiftNB, or email it to The deadline to enter is Tuesday, January 22nd at noon. We'll draw the winner from all of the entries that evening on the show!

To encourage thoughtful and respectful conversations, first and last names will appear with each submission to CBC/Radio-Canada's online communities (except in children and youth-oriented communities). Pseudonyms will no longer be permitted.
