'Victory' for Metis and Non-Status

The Federal Court has ruled Metis and non-status Indians fall under federal jurisdiction in the Constitution. That means Ottawa must recognize those groups as "indians" and cannot offload their concerns on the provinces. Metis National Council lawyers Jason Madden explains the impact.
