Weekend At The Movies Contest!

Posted by Vanessa Vander Valk

silverwave.jpgFilm lover? How would you like to spend a weekend checking out more than 100 films from New Brunswick, the Atlantic region, across Canada and around the world at the Silver Wave Film Festival in Fredericton? The festival runs from November 8th through to the 11th and we have a pair of passes to give away! These passes get you into everything - from screenings to parties to workshops! Plus, we have a meal for two at Sweet Belgian Desire located at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre. But our winner also needs somewhere to stay, so the package includes two nights' accommodation at the Crowne Plaza! It's an amazing prize, and all you have to do for a chance to win is tell us about the movie you find yourself watching over and over. It seems eveyone has a movie they've seen 10, 20 or even 50 times! It might be a Christmas classic, a film that reminds you of a certain moment in your life, or just a guilty pleasure. Whatever it is, tell us about the movie you just can't stop watching and why you keep pressing play! If the movie has a great soundtrack, tell us about that too and we'll be sure to play a song. We'll enter all your stories in the draw for a chance to win the amazing Silver Wave prize package! Tell your story to our talkback line at 1-855-ShiftNB, or send it to us by email at shift@cbc.ca. The deadline to enter is Monday, November 5th at noon. We'll draw the winner at the end of Monday's show! See you at the movies.
