Gaspereau to Swim Free in the St. Croix

gaspereau.jpgGaspereau, or Alewives, have been prevented from swimming up the St. Croix for 17 years. Maine had ordered the fishways closed, largely because of concerns about the small mouth bass fishery. Now the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has ordered the river open. Connell Smith has the story.
