UNB Prof Makes Plea for Research Facility

lastfish06.jpgFor more than 40 years the ground-breaking research conducted at the Experimental Lakes Area (ELA) in northwestern Ontario has influenced public policy in water management in Canada and around the world. Now the Harper government has announced plans to close the facility. UNB biology professor Karen Kidd once worked at the ELA and she's one of many scientists trying to reverse the decision.
