Ferguson Defamation Trial Day 36
The showdown continued between two experienced lawyers at the defamation trial of former Saint John city councillor, John Ferguson. Ferguson's lawyer, Rod Gillis, has been getting under the skin of witness, John Nugent. Nugent is Saint John's city solicitor - and, was a member of the pension board. Ferguson is on trial for damaging the reputation of the pension board. The CBC's Robert Jones is covering the story.
