Emily Hampshire

Born and raised in Montreal, Emily Hampshire has made an indelible mark on the Canadian film and television industry. She is currently starring in two critically acclaimed television series. She plays ‘Jennifer Goines’ in Syfy’s 12 Monkeys and has received numerous accolades and acclaim for her portrayal of the character first made iconic by Brad Pitt. In addition, Emily stars in the CBC/ITV comedy series Schitt’s Creek opposite Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara. 

In 2016, Emily was recognized by the Canadian Academy of Cinema and Television where she won a 2016 Canadian Screen Award for her work on Schitt’s Creek. Emily has also received a Golden Maple Award for her work on both 12 Monkeys and Schitt’s Creek.
In 2013, Variety named her an ‘International Star You Need To Know.’ The same year she was also featured on the NextGen Canada list by The Hollywood Reporter and won a Canadian Comedy Award for Best Female Performance. No stranger to the Toronto International Film Festival, Emily has had eight movies premiere at the prestigious festival. At Cannes 2012, she received the Birks Canadian Diamond Award for her career and work in David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis.
