  NDP: John Conway
  SASK: Don Morgan
  Liberal: Zoria Broughton
  NGA: Neil Sinclair

Current MLA: Pat Lorje (NDP)

Constituency Profile: This is an urban/rural constituency. It includes the southeast corner of Saskatoon to the rural areas. The urban section of the riding is mostly residential, including some newer developments on the outermost edges. The major business area is in the Wildwood mall. The rural section of the riding surrounds the city to the north, east and south. Communities outside of the city limits include Furdale, Grasswood, Riverside Estates, Grasswood, Beaver Creek, Haultain, Strehlow, Whitecap and Camp Dundurn. Rural economy is based primarily on mixed grain farming, dairies and poultry production.

Political History: With only a 38-vote margin, Pat Lorje had the second-narrowest margin of victory in the 1999 provincial election. She was named to cabinet, but was asked to leave the post after a controversial incident involving one of her aides. Lorje announced this summer that she's leaving provincial politics. Saskatoon Southeast was a new riding in 1995. The boundaries have changed slightly since the last election. The Saskatoon Southeast constituency now includes some polls from the Arm River, Humboldt, and Saskatoon Eastview ridings.
