Current MLA: The boundaries have changed since the last election. Carolyn Jones (NDP) is the MLA for Saskatoon Meewasin. David Forbes (NDP) is the MLA for Saskatoon Idylwyld. Constituency Profile: An urban constituency in Saskatoon, this riding is split between residential, business, and industrial land use. Residential areas along the west bank of the South Saskatchewan River contain older, upscale neighbourhoods. The other main residential area in the riding is the less-wealthy neighbourhood west of Idylwyld Drive. Idylwyld Drive and Circle Drive are major service and retail districts. Saskatoon's airport is in this constituency. It is bounded by 51st Street on the north, the South Saskatchewan River on the east, 29th and Queen Streets on the south and Avenue D on the west.
