The 11th annual CBC Radio-Canada Comfort & Joy campaign raised $66,701.30 and brought in 1472 kg or 3245 lbs of food! Thank you to the Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan for matching those funds, bringing the total amount to $133,402.60.
Since its inception the Comfort & Joy campaign has brought in more than half a million dollars in support of the Food Banks of Saskatchewan!
Your donations will help feed hunger and raise hope for those less fortunate!

Children make up almost 50% of the people Saskatchewan Food Banks help feed.
Donations made to a Saskatchewan Food Bank before December 31st will be matched by Potash Corporation, dollar for dollar, up to a maximum of $1 million dollars, making your donation even more important.

Cards from the HeArt wishes to invite Regina and surrounding areas to bid on over 30 cards in a Silent Auction Monday, December 12th from 11 am to 2 pm at the CBC Al Johnson Galleria, 2440 Broad Street.

Come out to the Saskatoon Food Bank, #202 Ave. C South, on December 13, 12 noon - 1 p.m. for free soup and a bun! You'll also meet Garth Materie, host of Blue Sky, which will be broadcasting live from the Food Bank for a special show. You'll also hear heart-warming stories from the people who need the Food Bank, and learn how much of a difference it has made in their lives.

The Afternoon Edition's Craig Lederhouse invites you to stop by the CBC Broadcast Centre in Regina to be part of an in-studio audience! From the studio you'll be treated to the sweet sounds of musical guest Belle Plain and help celebrate the Christmas season up close and personal with The Afternoon Edition.
CBC hosts and staff will be at the Cornwall Centre in Regina on December 21, volunteering their time and gift-wrapping skills to help make your gifts look beautiful! It's all part of our Comfort & Joy campaign in support of Saskatchewan Food Banks.
